POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence within the manufacturing facilities across the region. This role focuses on implementing continuous improvement methodologies, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency across all operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, with a certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of TPS/TPM, Kaizen, Kanban, and SMED principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch and deploy lean principles (Greenfield)
  • Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders/plant members at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Facilitate training sessions on Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies for staff at all levels.
  • Identify and analyze process inefficiencies and develop strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Utilize Kaizen and Kanban principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and revise strategies as necessary.
  • Engage with leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress towards operational goals.
  • Champion the use of SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) techniques to improve changeover times and increase flexibility.
