Description

The Engine Services Segment of Lufthansa Technik has overhauled more than 30,000 aircraft engines and auxiliary power units (APUs) in over 60 years. Today, the division is represented worldwide with over 4,000 colleagues at 13 locations. From the inspection of an engine on the customer’s premises to complete Total Engine Support (TES), customers have access to all services for the reliable and economical operation of their engines. Over 150 customers worldwide place their trust in the quality work and expertise of Lufthansa Technik’s Engine Services division.

Lufthansa Technik is currently seeking highly capable candidates for the position of Regional Contract Key Account Manager , based in Singapore , for our customers across Asia Pacific. This position falls within Segment Engine Services of Lufthansa Technik and will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing measures to increase customer satisfaction
  • Systematically building customer loyalty. Identify upselling potential with existing customers, create acquisition and technical documents for negotiations with customers. Initiate and support sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Providing professional leadership to the Key Account Managers in the region and ensure collaboration, working methods and knowledge transfer between the Key Account Managers.
  • Supporting key customers to the Engine Services business and be responsible for the necessary coordination of the segments’ services.
  • Independently, and with the necessary support from other roles and segments, drive the conceptual and strategic development of customers, taking into account the operational degrees of freedom.
  • Accountable for revenues and results (at customer contract level), as well as securing and growing sales and contribution margins. Manage contracts within the framework approved by the Board. Monitor business plans, take responsibility for risk management.
  • Establishing and ensuring service provision (in accordance with the contract), identify potentials for improvement and derive measures for optimization together with the internal interface areas (e.g. production, accounting, engineering, material planning) as part of program planning.
  • Independently prepare, review, co-ordinate (inter-departmentally) and negotiate proposals and business plans for contract adjustments (preparing Board proposals as appropriate).
  • Taking responsibility for initiating product development topics; actively support key change processes (overarching/strategic).
  • Perform special tasks; participate in or lead projects
  • All other duties as assigned or required
