Description
Job Purpose The key objective of the Regional Credit Manager is to manage and optimize the credit risk portfolio of the region and segment under the Business Unit. They oversee credit policies implementation, evaluate creditworthiness of customers, maintain execution efficiency and develop strategies to minimize credit losses. Their role includes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering profitable and sustainable credit practices across the Business Unit. Main Accountabilities • Credit Underwriting of Strategic MF Customer loans and their timely sanction / closure for the region • Monitor Portfolio quality and risk management across the region on regular basis on various risk parameters: DPD, NPA, bounce rates, and delinquency trends. • Analysis of ED (Early Delinquency)/ Non-Starters/ PNS • Implementation of the Credit policy, process control, credit compliance and risk guidelines for the region • Handle a team of ACMs/CMs/Credit Officers/Associates in terms of train/monitor/control/motivate and engage • Hands-on market knowledge by communicating & maintaining co-ordination with other financers to stay updated on financing traits, market understanding, customer visits, feedback, new schemes launches, competitor policies, asset quality trends etc which helps in continuous improvement in underwriting quality. • MIS reporting and compliance: Publish weekly/monthly MIS on approvals, declines, portfolio risk, geography-wise performance; ensure accurate and timely system updates for underwriting decision; facilitate internal audits, compliance checks, and regulatory inspections for the region. • Keep track on performance of self and drive the team to enable positive results on KPIs Qualifications • Minimum Degree: CA or MBA in Finance
