Job Description MISSION : We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Regional Data Strategy Manager, North Asia to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in defining data strategy for our region as well as finding best information providers, analyzing data quality for the region used by Trade Credit Insurance and driving continuous data improvement initiatives MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Strategy Development: Design and oversee the development of comprehensive data strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves assessing current data capabilities, identifying data-related opportunities and challenges, and formulating strategies to leverage data effectively. Negotiations with Information Providers Data management and understanding local regulations Close collaboration with HQ data procurement and acquisition team Data Analytics and Insights : review and assess the relevance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure effective performance tracking. Be involved in management of data team performance and operational key results, identifying trends and patterns that impact efficiency. Develop and maintain comprehensive operational dashboards, visualizing key metrics and insights for easy consumption. Analyze data trends to proactively identify potential operational impacts and suggest corrective actions. Collaborate closely with Operations teams and Business units to identify opportunities for process enhancements, proposing actionable modifications. Prepare comprehensive analysis reports, presenting findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner This regional position can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong, with the final location determined based on the successful candidate. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Proficiency in data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, etc.). 10+ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong proficiency in data cleansing and data preparation techniques. Proven experience in analyzing and exploring complex datasets to extract actionable insights. Experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards that cater to varying stakeholder needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Solution-oriented mindset, driven to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
