Position Summary As a Regional Dietician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition care to patients across multiple facilities. You will conduct nutritional assessments, develop personalized meal plans, and educate patients on healthy eating habits. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving patient outcomes and promoting overall well-being. Posted Salary Range USD $65,000.00 - USD $78,000.00 /Yr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Duties & Responsibilities Completes assessment, nutrition intervention, monitoring and evaluation utilizing the nutrition care process and evidenced base care guidelines. Rounds with nursing to make recommendations for nutrition care. Formulates menus for therapeutic diets based on medical and physical condition of patients and integrates patients menus with basic institutional menus as needed. Instructs patients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection and preparation during rounding. Conducts test tray audits of patient meals to assess quality. Documents patient rounds and maintains high patient satisfaction ratings. Will make site visits as scheduled and as needed to facilities in area to complete Clinical Nutrition Assessment as required. Qualifications & Requirements Must be a Registered Dietitian, Bachelors Degree, skilled nursing, acute care or a combination of experience will be considered Must maintain current licensure as required by law Minimum of two+ years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc. Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally.
