As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Regional Director to join our team.
Position Overview: The Regional Director of Logistics will oversee and manage logistics operations across the East Region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimize supply chain processes. This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to lead and inspire a diverse team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Frequent travel (more that 50% of the time) travel throughout the region and to Hackbarth’s’ sites outside of the region occasionally.
