This role is ideal for a dynamic, values-driven leader who is committed to delivering high-quality care, driving operational excellence, and supporting continuous improvement across multiple care homes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Regional Director is responsible for the overall performance, quality of care, and regulatory compliance of several care homes within the South region. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure exceptional resident care, strong occupancy levels, and efficient operations in line with organisational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Home Managers
• Ensure all homes meet or exceed regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., CQC)
• Monitor and drive improvements across key performance indicators including occupancy, staffing, financial performance, and care quality
• Support safeguarding, clinical governance, and staff development initiatives
• Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with wider organisational goals
• Collaborate with support teams (HR, Quality, Compliance, Finance) to address operational needs
• Lead recruitment, retention, and succession planning for care home leadership teams
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure standards are maintained
• Foster a positive, resident-focused culture that reflects the values of dignity, respect, and compassion
