Regional Director of Assessments Location: Georgia Position Overview: The Regional Director of Assessments is responsible for overseeing the assessment processes within the ABA program across multiple sites in the designated region. This role includes leadership, supervision, training, and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards to deliver high-quality behavioral assessment services to clients. Qualifications: Current BCBA certification and GA state licensure Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field. Demonstrated skill and experience implementing ABA therapy with individuals with autism Familiarity with a variety of clinical assessments such as Vineland, PDDBI, VB-Mapp, ABBLS, AFFL's, SRS-2, ESDM, etc Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of ABA, with a focus on assessments. Proven experience in leadership or supervisory role. Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and regulations related to ABA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively. assess and pair with clients of all ages and abilities Responsibilities: Conduct parent interviews along with indirect and direct assessments with clients at the start of authorization process Create comprehensive treatment plans including function-based behavior intervention plans, as well as skill acquisition programs Determine clinical recommendation based on core deficits of autism, funding source requirements, and client’s predicted response to treatment Utilizing Central Reach, complete a comprehensive treatment plan and behavior plan for the incoming supervising BCBA Maintain small ongoing caseload through client supervision Coordinate treatment with other members of client's team Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to establish supportive and communicative relationships with clients, caregivers, other stakeholders. Ability to multitask with a strong adherence to deadlines. Assessment must be within 45 days or less of authorization approval. Commitment to handling confidential information responsibly Access to reliable transportation, ability to travel Detailed oriented and dedicated to precision. Experience with LEARN Module in Central Reach Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Team Management: - Supervise a team of behavior analysts and assessment staff. - Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. 2. Clinical Oversight: - Ensure the delivery of high-quality assessments according to best practices in ABA. - Review assessment reports and treatment plans for accuracy and consistency. 3. Training and Development: - Develop and implement training programs for staff on assessment methodologies and tools. - Provide mentorship and guidance on ethical practices in assessment. 4. Quality Assurance: - Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in assessment procedures. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to improve service delivery. 5. Data Management: - Analyze assessment data to identify trends and inform treatment planning. - Collaborate with data analysts to enhance data collection and interpretation methods. 6. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless service delivery. - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders about assessment findings and recommendations. 7. Research and Development: - Stay current with developments in the field of ABA and incorporate evidence-based practices into assessment protocols. - Contribute to research initiatives to enhance program effectiveness.
