SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS (WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING):

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing and brand management, including multi-unit or multi-concept oversight.
  • Strong record of developing creative campaigns and a strong social media presence
  • Deep understanding of diverse marketing tools and analytics.
  • Flexibility to travel to our various locations each month.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE (WHY THE ROLE EXISTS):

The Regional Director of Brand & Marketing will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for our hospitality businesses and membership programs. They will achieve this by using creative marketing and storytelling, ensuring brand consistency, elevating our online presence, and tailoring strategies to the local market. This role will oversee a small internal team and manage third-party vendors to meet our objectives and elevate our brands.

CORE TASKS (WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR):

The primary responsibilities for this role are outlined below.

  • Business:
  • Develop marketing budgets for each hospitality business and our Inner Circle program. Set objectives and success metrics for the various marketing distribution channels.
  • Negotiate with third-party vendors to ensure excellent value for money.
  • Allocate marketing resources appropriately to be efficient and effective.
  • Collect and utilize data and analytics to measure brand performance, awareness, and guest engagement. Identify opportunities to elevate our brands.
  • Brand:
  • Clarify and maintain the brand identity for each hospitality business in alignment with the overall Foley Hospitality strategic framework.
  • Develop and execute the marketing and messaging for the events and experiences at each hotel and business through social media, digital, and PR efforts.
  • Focus on local and key drive markets to boost occupancy rates by marketing heavily and creatively in those areas.
  • Source strategic partnerships that elevate the perception and image of each property and brand. Partner with influencers and media to tell the right brand story.
  • Oversee Public Relations, which includes developing strategies and programming to showcase our brands correctly.
  • Culture
  • Provide leadership that represents our leadership expectations and inspires a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and creative approach to marketing within each hospitality business and our third-party vendors.
  • Create a safe and collaborative environment within the marketing teams where all team members feel seen, valued, and a part of something bigger.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team. Coach and develop people to meet performance standards through feedback, communication, and training.
