Job Details Job Location: 120 - Heritage Senior Living - Milwaukee - Milwaukee, WI 53219 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: AM / 1st Job Category: Nurse Regional Director of Clinical Operations | Registered Nurse | RN Heritage Senior Living | Wisconsin Location: Milwaukee, WI & Madison, WI Heritage Senior Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Regional Director of Clinical Operations, providing clinical leadership and oversight across multiple assisted living and memory care communities in Wisconsin. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this role ensures nursing services are delivered in compliance with Wisconsin DHS Chapters 83 and 89, company policies, and best practices, while supporting Directors of Nursing and care teams to deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centered care. Key Responsibilities Provide regional clinical oversight for multiple communities. Ensure compliance with DHS regulations (CBRF/RCAC) and internal policies. Support survey readiness, Plans of Correction, and follow-up activities. Monitor key clinical systems including falls, skin integrity, infection prevention, nutrition risk, and psychotropic medication management. Review incidents, reportable events, and changes of condition; support root-cause analysis and prevention strategies. Support and coach Directors of Nursing and clinical leaders. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff education. Ensure timely completion of assessments, ISPs, chart reviews, and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, hospice, home health, and other care partners. Participate in leadership meetings and organizational initiatives. Travel between communities as needed. Qualifications Active Wisconsin RN license, in good standing. Minimum 2 years of nurse leadership experience (senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred). Working knowledge of CBRF and/or RCAC regulations. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing needs. Comfortable with EHR systems and basic computer applications. Ability to travel within Wisconsin.
