JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Sales & Business Development must have a solid understanding of the market requirements and customer requirements in order to prove to potential customers our world-class capability and build long-term collaborative relationships. This position demands a demonstrable track record of originating and closing national Recruiting & Staffing Services engagements. The leader must understand the concepts and key messages behind our Recruiting & Staffing Services and have sold the full lifecycle of various placements (direct hire and temp to hire). They must have a network of contacts and experience in selling to the Healthcare industry vertical. The Director of Sales & Business Development is responsible for shaping the sales team and scaling revenue to the next level. This person would have existing connections with warm leads in the healthcare industry. BONUS if you have direct connections with Mental Health organizations.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of National Sales Delivery Model (cross-state & overseas) and large deal experience
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Show demonstrable sales figures and a record of over-achieving sales targets and ideally have been with their firms for over 3 years.
  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-suite/VPs of leading healthcare organizations
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentation
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider 3 years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 15+ years of experience, with strong sales experience in service
  • 7 years of relevant sales and business development experience in the Recruiting & Staffing field and a track record of exceeding quota

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Computer literate.
  • Manual dexterity to use/handle equipment and instruments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to concurrently perform multiple tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, VP/CEO, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
  • Land and expand: build process and funnel for manual top-down reachout, onboarding, activation, and expansion
  • Evangelize our services and personally help close largest deals
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Operations, Contracting, and Marketing
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
  • Identification and acquisition of new clients and projects in the healthcare sector
  • Self-responsible implementation of the sales process from acquisition to completion
  • Relationship management, maintenance, and use of your network
  • Individual bidding as well as coordination and participation in contract negotiations
  • Use of sales and marketing tools to obtain new orders
  • Participation and moderation of external events
