Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for spearheading Sales strategies for the assigned region. This crucial role requires at least 10 years of direct experience in the military aerospace and defense sectors, essential for steering the company’s strategic direction. This position entails expanding current business and developing new opportunities while maintaining a strong network of military contacts throughout these regions. Proficiency in English is highly desired to ensure effective communication and operations across the varied markets of the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in the aerospace and defense industry, specifically dealing with military aircraft spares, aftermarket distribution, and MRO.
  • Possession of a current and extensive rolodex of contacts within US airframers, operators, primes, and military forces across the region, demonstrating ongoing relationships and network development.
  • Tailor marketing strategies to align with regional cultural and business practices.
  • Engage in frequent travel across the region to forge strong relationships with new and existing military contacts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between the Customer and Company.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between OEM partners/Suppliers and Company.
  • Develop marketing strategies for new business opportunities.
  • Establishes and is responsible for sales forecasts for assigned territory(ies).
  • Delegate day-to-day incoming requests for quote received from customers to sales support team.
  • Establish and communicate pricing strategies for sales support for all quotations to customers.
  • Provide oversight and assist with handling day-to-day customer requests including sales orders, purchase orders, discrepancies, etc. with the sales support staff and other departments.
  • Monitor and review accounts receivables related to assigned territory(ies).
  • Monitor shipping cycle through weekly reports.
  • Attend regular meetings with management to discuss new business opportunities and to review orders booked.
  • Travel for sales opportunities both domestically and abroad.
  • Develop strategy for execution of large projects / tenders.
  • Generate customer presentations and solely own presentation.
  • Manage territory and strategy including coordination with outside consultants and representatives.
  • Possess clear understanding of contracts and coordinate with legal department as needed to review and draft new contracts (i.e. representative agreements, customer proposals/contracts, etc.).
  • Possess advanced understanding of the territory procurement systems and major customers.
  • Possess advanced product knowledge of AllClear Aerospace & Defense and partner OEMs.
  • Management of Sales team, to lead and motivate team.
  • Lead new business generation and develop strategy for territory/sales expansion.
  • Demonstrate effective cross-functional communication with other key functional departments.
  • Strategic prospecting and opportunity generation in specified territories.
  • Monitor and analyze sales reports to maximize profit margins and review customer base
  • Establish and own the sales and marketing budget and regularly review/update the Vice President, Global Growth.
  • Understand and perform functions in accordance with AS9120 and ISO9001 Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of directly related experience within the aerospace and defense industry
  • 8+ years Sales and/or Sales Management related experience
  • 3+ years of proven leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience with airframers, primes, and defense procurement processes specific to the Americas.
  • Familiarity with regional nuances in business negotiations and contract management within the aerospace and defense sectors.
  • Experience managing, motivating, and leading a team
  • Superior communication skills, articulate
  • Strategy Development

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Advanced Salesforce (CRM) understanding and usage
  • ERP experience – Quantum preferred

  • Fluent in English and able to communicate within the assigned region
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
