The Regional Director, TAFB West has overall leadership responsibility for operations and community impact of the TAFB West branch located in Parker County, Texas. Where YOU make the impact… You’ll lead a team to drive the organization’s overall mission by bringing innovative ideas and efforts and empowering individuals to achieve goals. You’ll network and cultivate relationships within Parker County and surrounding community to increase awareness of TAFB’s Mission of Empowering our community to alleviate hunger and improve health. You’ll need to be a visionary leader able to motivate teams, initiate/manage projects and take appropriate risk for the organization and alleviate hunger. You’ll supervise and coordinate food distribution activities, logistics and inventory control with support from the operations team. You’ll supervise and coordinate activities for Agencies, Community Resources, including SNAP, Including the Store Donation Program and volunteers. You’ll coordinate and support advocacy, communications, and development efforts, with a dotted-line oversight of Advocacy and Development employees. You’ll develop and manage the annual expense budget for West services and staff. You’ll manage food donation and distribution needs of TAFB North, ensuring appropriate storage space and coordinate receipt and distribution of product in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner. You’ll be responsible for TAFB- West staff training and development You’ll also be responsible for TAFB OPSP Metrics of achieving meals provided, SDP Lbs., SNAP apps and any other applicable metrics You’ll be responsible for supervising the Program Coordinator, DC Coordinators, DC Staff, Agency Service/Store Donations Coordinator and Community Resource Specialist Don’t forget to exemplify TAFB Core Values of Lead, Care, Innovate and Respect. Lastly, you’ll perform other duties as assigned. What you need to succeed! Have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience, with 5 – 8 years serving in a supervisory role with a strong leadership presence? Keep reading! The ability to establish and develop community relationships is of critical importance. You’ll need to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. The ability to mentor and develop staff is necessary. Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance appraisals. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite You’ll often find yourself speaking with various leaders in the community so excellence in public speaking, writing, and presenting information is necessary. A day in the life: You’ll typically be working in an office and warehouse environment You will find yourself frequently standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and pulling up to 50 pounds You’ll be required to be at TAFB Main Campus every Tuesday You may also find yourself doing some travel, we offer mileage reimbursement You’ll need to be okay with work schedule flexibility with occasional weekend and evening availability.
