Responsibilities

The role of Regional Director is responsible for leading the delivery of Hauora Māori services in the regions. This role is focused on commissioning, delivery of patient facing services and monitoring of sector and service performance to improve Hauora Māori outcomes. Regional Directors are also members of the Hauora Māori Service Senior Leadership Team who collectively ensure that efforts are prioritised to focus on the things that will make the biggest health impact for Māori.
