Human by nature. Regional EHS Director SAMEA - Your future position? As Regional EHS Director SAMEA, you’re responsible for ensuring effective management of the EHS aspects within the region. Functionally manage (dotted line) local EHS Managers of the region. Promote the EHS culture across the organisation. Core Responsibilities Regional implementation of Global EHS strategies Provide the leadership and talent development of the regional team Ensure all regional sites are and remain within compliance across the EHS dimensions (governmental and Givaudan EHS requirements) Regional deployment of appropriate EHS management systems, standards and tools Implement global strategic EHS initiatives/programs within the region Responsible for the supervision of environmental issues Ensure EHS documentation within the region is up to date Implement any regulatory EHS consequences within the region Manage EHS auditing/certifications and assurance program Ensure regional EHS legal compliance to Givaudan and statutory directives Monitor EHS performance within the region Ensure KPIs reporting is complete and accurate Manage near miss/hazard/observation reports for the region Verify corrective actions, as a results of incidents investigations, are documented and implemented in an efficient way Enable EHS best practice exchanges and knowledge sharing between sites Track, review and take necessary action to drive continual EHS improvement Ensure adequate EHS staffing and knowledge at each site Manage/optimize the regional EHS organisation to deliver added value to the organisation Cultivate and communicate compelling vision Gain buy-in from key functions You? Your professional profile includes Academic Background Master’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related field. Professional Experience 15+ years EHS professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in providing EHS support and expertise in a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills Fluent English, other language a plus. Computer literacy. Experience in implementing and coordinating regulatory compliance programs. Experience in crisis management.
