JOB OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will cover the Leicester &Leicestershire area and will be responsible for employer engagement; sourcing new employers to work with and new vacancies. They will also support with delivery of tailored Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) sessions, stakeholder engagement, and delivering on-site unaccredited support sessions.
Due to the nature of the role and it being regional, it is essential that you own a full UK driving licence and also have access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities
  • Work with other colleagues to understand participant requirements on scheme with Workpays
  • Research local areas and labour markets to source vacancies for participants
  • Communicate and engage with employers onto contracts on behalf of Workpays
  • To put in place necessary documentation and tracking mechanisms to manage activities
  • To follow the guidance supplied by DWP in relation to eligibility and delivery
  • Support with engagement days fby placing people into appropriate courses and IAG sessions
  • Support our participants with guided application sessions
  • Create, develop, and deliver IAG sessions and workshops to support participants, covering topics such as: CV writing, interview techniques, mock interviews, building confidence and motivation
  • Provide feedback to colleagues on participant interaction and support provided and maintain up-to-date records of activities conducted
  • Provide tailored on-site support to participants to enable them to move closer to the job market
  • Communicate regularly with participants to ensure high attendance in group sessions, including through phone calls, messages, emails, and letters
  • Create materials for participants to continue their learning outside of support sessions
  • Gather feedback on each support session to ensure continuous improvement

  • Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development
  • Work to minimise our operational impacts on the environment
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
