Continue growing with PPG! As the Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for project and process engineering support within the EMEA liquid operations organization. As leaders in engineering for liquid operations, the team guides change through process engineering leadership on the most manufacturing projects for liquid operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness, ensuring processes, technologies, and assets are fully capable and scalable. Drive regional productivity and efficiency improvements through structured continuous improvement initiatives. Define, standardize, and govern engineering best practices across EMEA liquid operations. You will be a troubleshooting resource for non-standard performance in manufacturing Work with Business and Advanced Manufacturing teams to modernize operations Stay informed of latest technology and process developments in the industry Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop new process designs and conduct developmental process trials Collaborate with site engineering and maintenance teams to implement improvements Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, capital project execution, or process development. Recognized regional or global Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes and/or equipment. Experience in batch and continuous manufacturing environments. Strong experience operating within regulated quality systems (cGMP, IATF 16949, or equivalent). Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Process Design Review methodologies. Proven leadership in RFQ development, URS definition, FAT, and SAT execution. Solid background in paint and resin chemistry and liquid manufacturing processes. Working knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX). Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across regions and functions.
