WHAT YOU’LL DO
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The YWCA owns or manages a portfolio of 20+ buildings in King and Snohomish Counties. The Regional Facilities Manager provides support to the facilities and housing departments across Seattle, South Seattle, and King County. This position works closely with housing staff, facilities staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure properties remain safe, orderly, and well-maintained while meeting programmatic and organizational needs.
The Regional Facilities Manager provides leadership and guidance to facilities staff through hands-on training, performance management, scheduling, and prioritizing work assignments. This role coordinates preventative maintenance, oversees vendor work, monitors inventory, and assists in managing effective work order systems. The position requires a strong understanding of facilities management principles to ensure compliance and efficiency across multiple sites, while maintaining alignment with YWCA’s mission.
This position has a social justice component that requires critical thinking around how external systems impact our work through the lens of racism and intersections with poverty. Leaders at YWCA must work effectively in non-white environments and champion antiracism policies, practices, and processes.
