QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirement Standard:
Two-year technical diploma in a related field such as construction trade such as carpenter, electrician, communication electrician, plumber, gasfitter, welder plus four years related experience; or equivalent as described below.
A Journeyperson Certificate in a construction trade such as carpentry, electrical or plumbing is required, supplemented by a minimum of two years additional directly related experience in the facility and construction field with extensive project supervision; or a two (2) year construction trade diploma with at least 4 years directly related experience.
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience or vice versa.
Additional Requirement: A valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent.

Reporting to the Wildfire Facilities Program Lead, the Regional Facility Coordinator facilitates the delivery of the Wildfire Management Branch’s Facilities Program in the West Central Alberta area, including Whitecourt, Edson, Hinton and Grande Cache.
