Midway Mechanical Services (MMS) is expanding rapidly across Texas and is seeking a Regional Finance Director to help lead the next phase of growth. This is not a maintenance role. Act as a Strategic Business Partner: Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and regional leadership to shape forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial strategy. Support Growth & Expansion: Provide financial modeling and operational insight to support design-build, service, and maintenance divisions, including new market expansion. Own Performance & Results: Manage regional P&L, budgets, KPIs, cash flow, and compliance for a complex, multi-site operation ($80M+ in annual revenue). Develop & Mentor Leaders: Build, coach, and empower finance and operational leaders across the region, strengthening bench strength and succession planning. Who Thrives in This Role Relevant Industry Experience: Proven leadership experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, plumbing, construction services, or similar project-based, job-costed environments. Senior Financial Leadership: 8+ years in senior finance, operations, or controller-level roles, ideally supporting multi-location or regional operations. Strategic Operator: Demonstrated success managing P&L responsibility and scaling organizations with $80M+ in revenue. Builder’s Mindset: Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and energized by growth, change, and complexity. Strong Communicator & Partner: Comfortable working with executive leadership, field operations, and external stakeholders. Texas Market Familiarity: Experience operating within the Texas market strongly preferred. Education & Mobility: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics required (MBA or CPA a plus). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally (approximately 25–40%).
