Description
We are looking for an experienced Regional Finance Manager to oversee accounting and financial reporting across the organization. In this role, you'll drive financial efficiency, ensure compliance, and improve the performance of finance operations across multiple regions. A strong agile finance leader with the ability to drive the strategic role of Finance in the organization. Main Responsibilities: Accounts & Operations: To be hands-on in accounting operations, ensuring timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance in the region such as the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, India, and others. Manage finance operations across multiple countries and facilitate communication across teams for operational excellence. Prepare, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of financial and management reports. Monitor and manage billing, collections, expense tracking, and related processes. Coordinate the full set of accounts closing and consolidation of subsidiaries. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Track budget vs. actuals and conduct variance analysis. Support strategic financial planning and provide business advisory services. Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and identify opportunities for optimization. Apply tax knowledge for transaction applications and propose strategic approaches. Collaborate effectively with multi-cultural teams and stakeholders across regions. Internal Controls: Lead continuous improvements to financial processes and internal systems. Ensure accurate and secure financial records while enforcing adherence to company guidelines. Key Competencies: Effective team player with strong leadership and collaboration skills. Hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and resolve conflicts. Strong planning, organizing, and delegation abilities. Expertise in MS Excel and accounting software. Required Skills/Experience: Industry Experience: Preferably from IT consulting, Tech Services, Telco or IT Shared Services to align with our business transactions in the region. 17+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations. With strong leadership, agility and is able to provide strategic advice to C-level stakeholders. A Certified Public Accountant Strong CPA knowledge with solid exposure to regional accounting work. Hands-on experience in accounting operations and taxation. In-depth knowledge and experience of tax regulations and practices. Tech savvy and can champion improvements such as automation and workflow optimization. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shared-responsibility environment. Willing to travel within the APAC region.
