About the Role: The Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of a diverse fleet across multiple locations within the United States. The manager will develop and implement maintenance strategies, coordinate with service providers, and lead a team of technicians and supervisors to achieve optimal fleet reliability. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in supporting the company’s operational efficiency and cost management objectives through effective fleet maintenance management. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management or a similar role. * Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. * Proven leadership experience managing teams in a multi-site environment. * Proficiency with fleet management software and maintenance tracking systems. Preferred Qualifications: * Certification in Fleet Management (e.g., Certified Automotive Fleet Manager - CAFM). * Experience managing maintenance for a large and diverse fleet including heavy-duty vehicles. * Familiarity with budgeting and financial management related to fleet operations. * Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools. * Experience working within a logistics or transportation company. Responsibilities: * Manage and supervise regional fleet maintenance teams, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. * Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure fleet reliability and compliance with safety regulations. * Coordinate with vendors and service providers to secure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs. * Monitor maintenance budgets, control costs, and prepare reports on fleet performance and maintenance activities. * Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and implement best practices across the region. * Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to fleet operations and maintenance. * Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to align maintenance schedules with business needs and minimize vehicle downtime.
