  Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connecting offenders to programs, services and the community. CCS provides management of offenders on court orders, serious sex and violent offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.

The Regional General Manager, CCS leads and manages the delivery of CCS services across locations within the region, including providing services to regional courts and prisons.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work from and travel to locations within the region and manage the day-to-day operations of that region
• Direct line management responsibilities for the Managers across court, parole and post sentence and community work streams, including a number of other specialist positions.
• Guides others through the strategic planning process
• works across government and at senior levels to develop and deliver sustainable solutions

The Regional General Manager is a member of a region’s executive management team. In that capacity, the position has a significant role to play in providing strategic advice for the entire region and delivering strategic outcomes to address issues affecting the region and CCS as a whole.
