We are looking for an Regional Head of Distribution – LatAm based in Miami The Impact You Will Have As Regional Head of Distribution – LatAm, you will be responsible for the following: Supporting Miami FAC Office underwriters who will execute on local and regional broker initiatives by supporting/providing data and analytics to drive National/Country/LatAm strategies — the buildout is being driven by the LatAm leadership team, with alignment and input from key stakeholders in North America, including CEO Americas, Regional Head of Strategic Relationships Americas, CFO and LatAm MD; Structuring and aligning how we operate/measure at the OE level to ensure coherence and discipline across countries with close alignment and coordination with Regional Head of Strategic Relationships; For LatAm/Miami, leading strategic engagement with global and international brokers to bring strategies, insights and work with LatAm/Miami leaders to implement strategies that can drive growth; Facilitating the creation of initiatives (Marsh, Willis, Aon, etc..), coordinating QBR’s, connecting leadership and ensuring broker accountability for financial KPI’s, in cooperation with LatAm Distribution; Working with the local LatAm Distribution Team to establish OE broker actions plans to strengthen broker relationships, ensuring execution of OE or country priorities and driving consistency among Allianz’s trading practices with our strategic partners in LatAm; and Acting as point of contact with global team for Reporting, regional projects, NPS surveys and any other global initiatives. Some of your specific responsibilities could include: Supporting Miami FAC Office underwriters who will execute on local and regional broker initiatives by supporting/providing data and analytics to drive National/Country/LatAm strategies. Driving client-centric culture and behavior and sales capabilities both within and outside regional Distribution function, including supporting the local OE distribution team and interaction with Global Distribution. Driving effective usage of global and local tools and processes. Structuring and aligning how we operate at the OE level to ensure coherence and discipline across countries Developing, defining and executing regional strategy for Distribution to drive profitable growth and a leading regional market position, identifying regional market opportunities, including potential markets, target segments and clients, in liaison with Global CUO and OEs within region. Supporting development of overall regional business strategy and definition of AZC Value Proposition. Developing regional market potential via different industry segments, broker segments and Lines of Businesses. Managing external delivery of Client Service Model targets for regional portfolio of IIS top clients. For LatAm and now across the Americas, leading strategic engagement with global and international brokers to bring strategies and insights, working with LatAm local leaders to implement strategies that can drive growth. Successfully delivering new revenue and client renewal targets. winning profitable new key clients and increasing AZC "Size of Wallet", including meeting Upsell and Cross Sell target. Successfully implementing the FAC Miami Desk project. Proactively fostering robust relationships with top and key clients and key broking partners at appropriate levels. Implementing the Client Protocol and Broker Protocol. Act as KAM for named clients and be a prospect converter for selected target accounts. What You’ll Bring to the Role A minimum of 7 years of experience in specialty insurance front-line business development, including strong insurance and underwriting knowledge and client/broker market experience; Knowledge of large risks and specialty risk insurance, with an ability to implement best practice in channel management; Well recognized long term relationship building with brokers at peer group level and within the local market; Proven experience in operational management (financial services experience preferred); Ability to define segmentation and client differentiation strategies and define clear value proposition, as well as implement tools and methodologies to develop market, competitor, and client insight; Project management skills, including change management and quality management, with an ability to steer projects accordingly; Ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail, identifying and resolving issues before they transpire; Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to develop and positively influence key, strategic position holders across locations and functions; Bachelor’s degree in in Business / Economics / Law or appropriate discipline; Proficiency in Spanish is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and teams in the Latin American region. Portuguese proficiency is desirable and considered beneficial. A deep knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), with the ability to leverage AI-driven insights to shape strategic decisions and drive innovation across the organization. The annualized base pay range for this role is $154,150 - $232,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
