Managing a team of Health and Safety Managers, this role will be based at one of our Sydney manufacturing sites and will drive and improve the Health and Safety performance and culture of the business area through:

• The prevention of injury and the potential for harm to our employees, contractors, visitors and the public
• Exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
• The provision of visible, competent leadership and health & safety expertise
• Development and implementation of strategic health & safety programs tailored to local needs
• Coaching and support to business unit leadership
• Compliance as a minimum with relevant regulatory requirement

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Tertiary qualification in OH&S preferred
• Strong regulatory knowledge specific to manufacturing environments
• In depth knowledge of health & safety management systems
• Proven record of success within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of health & safety specialists
• Proven ability in developing and driving strategy and vision within an organisation that appreciates and values individual contribution
• Proven, positive experience in dealing with and managing regulators
• Proven experience in successfully driving a culture of continuous improvement
• Strong interpersonal relationship skill
