Location: Naval Support Facility, Arlington, VA
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following areas: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Labor Relations, Or a closely related field
Minimum Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in federal or DoD recruitment
- Experience with: digital outreach and recruitment programs, USAJOBS and federal staffing systems,
- Position classification and recruitment within DoD and/or Marine Corps context,
- Interpreting and applying OPM qualification standards, Compensation analysis and federal pay scales (e.g., GS/WG/WL/WS)
Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of federal, DOD, and USMC recruitment and hiring processes.
- Ability to analyze compensation trends and develop competitive advertising strategies.
- Proficiency in managing recruitment materials, tracking program funds, and providing clear reports.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including HR offices, manpower departments, and law enforcement personnel.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks:
- Provide dedicated support to recruiting and hiring efforts.
- Assist Regions and Installations with structure alignment changes in accordance with HQ MCLEP recommended PMO/Police Dept structure including identifying appropriate standardized MCLEP position descriptions.
- Travel to supported installations a minimum of once per year and up to three times per year.
- Support recruiting events on behalf of Regions and Installations, up to 18 events per year.
