We are seeking an experienced Regional HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environment outcomes across our New South Wales and Queensland portfolio. This is a senior role for a visible, delivery‑focused leader who builds strong relationships, influences outcomes, and leads by example. Job Description Reporting to the General Manager Group HSE, you will be responsible for embedding the Group HSE strategy across multiple manufacturing and industrial sites. You will work closely with Divisional leadership, Site Managers and HSE teams to build capability, drive cultural change, and ensure compliance across your region. This role requires frequent travel to sites within your portfolio, and as such suits someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, understands operational realities, and leads through influence rather than authority alone. You will also be a key member of the One Pact HSE Council, contributing to group‑wide governance, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your key responsibilities will be to: Deploy and execute the Group HSE strategy and management systems across multiple sites Actively coach, influence and develop leaders to strengthen safety leadership and accountability Maintain oversight of critical risks including machinery safety, LOTO, traffic management, chemical safety and working at heights Lead incident response, notifiable events, investigations and corrective actions Partner with operations to balance safety excellence with operational efficiency Conduct audits, inspections and compliance activities while maintaining strong regulatory relationships Support and develop HSE team members through on‑site coaching and mentoring Prepare and present HSE reporting to senior stakeholders Drive a consistent, high‑performing safety culture across geographically dispersed sites Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Proven experience in a senior HSE leadership role within manufacturing or industrial environments Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation Demonstrated success driving cultural and behavioural change Experience working across multiple sites and diverse stakeholder groups A solution‑oriented mindset with strong coaching capability Confidence managing incidents, risk, and regulatory engagement Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management systems Qualifications Qualifications in WHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable)
