JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Regional HR Manager will serve as a strategic and hands-on partner to leaders across assigned locations. This role is responsible for driving HR practices that support company goals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The position requires regular site visits and close collaboration with both management and HR staff to provide guidance, resolve issues, and improve processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (SPHR/PHR certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with multi-site or regional responsibilities.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to supported sites on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
  • Lead recruiting efforts, interviews, and onboarding processes to ensure timely placement of qualified candidates.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs, skills, and scheduling requirements.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, benefits, payroll, performance management, and leave administration.
  • Support policy enforcement, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and assist with training and development initiatives.
  • Maintain HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with safety leadership to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and compliance documentation, including I-9s.
  • Organize HR team meetings, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Promote a culture of engagement and employee relations across the region.
  • Travel monthly to supported sites to provide hands-on HR support.
