THE POSITION:

We’re looking for a passionate Regional HR Manager committed to delivering excellence in our mission to care for Kupuna. The Regional Human Resources (RHRM) Manager formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to assigned client/business units and employees, that reflects the People strategy of OPH. The RHRM is responsible for the management of day-to-day performance and service delivery and primary liaison between People Operations and Community Operations. This role is essential in promoting OPH core values and enabling operational excellence through human resource services and support. Responsibilities include:

  • Partners with the leadership team at each community to understand and execute the human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to the current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and talent management.
  • Performs talent acquisition for assigned client base. Pre-screens candidate applications and resumes for required skills; experience and knowledge to fit position requirements. Makes referrals to hiring manager and ensures efficient turn-around activity. Make conduct hiring decisions if requested by Administrator or leadership.
  • Facilitates process of candidate selection; interviewing; job offer; pre-employment requirements and coordination of onboarding details.
  • Actively participates in recruitment campaigns; job fairs; college relation programs; general networking; etc., to ensure robust candidate pipeline.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and other staff when complex, specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to five (3-5) years of HR experience with at least one (1) year experience in recruitment or retention.
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage, and salary trends,
  • Knowledge and experience with online networking tools, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, indeed, Monster.com and experience conducting searches on recruitment databases.
