Description
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in supporting regional indirect sourcing initiatives by working closely with Regional Category Managers, manufacturing plants, and suppliers. Key focus areas include process standardization, activity consolidation, automation enablement, and the deployment of best-in-class tools, methodologies, and digital solutions. RFx Lifecycle Management: Lead the creation and execution of RFx packages (RFI, RFQ, RFP), conduct comprehensive analysis of supplier responses, and develop sourcing workbooks with strategic recommendations for regional category managers. Complex RFP Execution: Manage RFPs for high-value or complex services/products where evaluation criteria extend beyond pricing—such as solution design, quality, and service levels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define detailed requirements and assess vendor proposals against business objectives. Response Screening & Clarification: Review and scrutinize supplier submissions, raise clarifications with relevant stakeholders, and ensure completeness and compliance of responses. Supplier Identification & Evaluation: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, perform due diligence, manage competitive quoting processes, and provide data-driven award recommendations. Data Analytics & Reporting: Utilize analytical tools and automation technologies to extract insights from procurement data, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global/regional category managers, manufacturing sites, and global suppliers to deliver cost-competitive sourcing outcomes within defined timelines and quality standards. Project & Spend Management: Apply project management methodologies to procurement initiatives and leverage supplier spending data to inform strategic sourcing decisions. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain consistent and structured communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely decision-making across sourcing activities. Supplier Negotiation: Engage in commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms, balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 3+ years of experience in indirect procurement; sourcing experience strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and Power Automate is a plus. Skilled in e-sourcing tools (E-RFQ, E-Auctions), with hands-on expertise in SAP Ariba. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with global, regional, and local management teams across diverse geographies. Problem solving and analytical thinking: Analyze sourcing challenges and deliver practical, data-driven solutions, and interpret complex data and extract actionable business insights to support strategic decisions. Attention to details: Ensure accuracy in supplier documentation and sourcing data. Agility: Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and cross-cultural environments.
