Reporting to the Supervisor, Administration the Regional Inventory Administrator is responsible for supporting Superior Propane’s operations through reconciliation of inventory on trucks and storage facilities. The Regional Inventory Administrator will also assist with sales order processing and provide administrative support for the Calgary office. What you’ll do: Perform daily inventory balancing between system calculated inventory and physical inventory measured at the location. Take correction actions to ensure inventory is accurately reflected in ADDs. Collaborate with cross functional teams to continuously improve the processes, tools, and models used. Completion of bi-monthly reconciliation process and shrinkage, reconciliation of Physical to System. Manage all aspects of inventory accounting, including recording transactions, adjustments, and reconciliations. Continuous improvement initiatives. Distribution, collection and reconciliation of all components of liquid and cylinder inventory including: Communicating regularly with drivers for daily reconciliation of truck inventory in assigned markets. Bimonthly reconciliation of storage facilities for assigned markets. Monitoring and tracking customer inquiries and complaints pertaining to inventory. Escalate issues to the Market Manager as needed. Process sales orders for field based over the counter sales. Distribution, data collection and processing of meter grids for residential and commercial customers. Other duties as required. What you bring: Completion of High School education; post secondary education in accounting would be considered an asset. Minimum one year working experience in accounting, an office environment or administrative capacity. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and intermediate skills with Excel. Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines and changing priorities. Well organized with excellent time management skills. Ability work with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
