About the Role Closing Date: 02/02/2026 Dynamic work environment and collaborative team culture Flexibility for balancing work and life commitments  Comprehensive learning and growth opportunities Inclusive workplace culture The Albury Wodonga health Regional Clinical Midwife Consultant (Liaison Midwife) will provide expert midwifery leadership, clinical advice, and system-level support across Maternity and Newborn Services within the Hume Local Health Service Network.  The role is pivotal in: Strengthening clinical governance across health services Enhancing safety and quality of care Supporting the consistent implementation of evidence-based practice and contemporary models of care Leading and supporting innovative models of maternity care Building capacity across rural and regional maternity services Supporting the development of midwifery staff to work to top scope Promoting a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvment The Regional Clinical Midwife Consultant works in partnership with Health Service Leadership Teams, Regional Obstetricians, Midwifery Leaders, Aboriginal Maternity Programs, Safer Care Victoria and state-wide maternity networks to ensure sustainable, women-centred care that responds to the needs of local communities.
