WHO WE ARE:

The Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is Australia’s largest integrated cattle and beef producer, specialising in grass-fed, grain-fed, and Wagyu beef production. Established back in 1824, we’ve been doing this a while – in fact, we’re Australia’s oldest continuously operating company. We’ve had plenty of time to figure out how to be the best workplace we can be, with all the support, training, and opportunity you need to shape your career how you want to. We’re dedicated to acknowledging our history even as we look to sustainably feed the future – and we’d love you to join us.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience operating graders, loaders, and excavators is an advantage
  • MC licence (not essential, but advantageous)
  • Appropriate licences to operate relevant machinery
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We’re looking for a skilled Machinery Operator to join our team across AACo’s VRG properties. You’ll be operating a range of agricultural machinery to support day-to-day station operations. If you’re someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things well, and thrives in a team that backs each other, this could be your next opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate graders to maintain station roads and fire breaks in line with grading guidelines
  • Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of machinery
  • Drive trucks, including side tippers and machinery floats
  • Conduct general property observations
  • Follow operational guidelines when using machinery
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Support with general station duties as directed by the manager
