WE ARE SEEKING: A dynamic Regional Manager & Relationship Officer to oversee the operations and performance of multiple branches currently located in the following areas: Chincoteague, Onley and Cape Charles, VA; Pocomoke, Snow Hill and Berlin, MD. This position can be based out of either our Onley, Virginia or Snow Hill, Maryland branches. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Directing operations for the branches assigned in the Region, through subordinate branch managers and supervisors, to ensure that the bank meets established goals and objectives. Reviewing, coaching, training, directing, and monitoring the work of direct reports, to include market managers/relationship officers, branch managers/relationship officers, and branch operations managers. Monitoring branch performance throughout the year, establishing goals for deposit products, relationship pricing/profitability, and initiating actions to achieve the goals within the Region. Collaborating with the Chief Retail Banking Officer to support and communicate strategic direction and expectations of the Bank on a regular basis and reinforcing these concepts. Monitoring product delivery and quality and taking action to resolve problems; reviewing customer complaints and assisting with resolving any problems. Assisting with hiring needs, branch staffing levels, and workforce development. Partnering with Human Resources to address any employee relations issues. Directing a proactive approach to customer satisfaction and customer retention. Listening to, and fully understanding, internal and external customer needs. Interacting in an effective and positive manner with customers and co-workers. Ensuring the Region is in compliance with all regulations; responsible for compliance issues associated with deposit programs including Regulations B, D, E, Z, CC, and DD. Contributing to process improvement activities as a branch subject matter expert and assisting with roll-out of new policies, procedures, and initiatives. Partnering with Human Resources for training and reinforcing the delivery to front line staff. All additional duties as assigned. YOU SHOULD HAVE: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year College or University in Business or related field. At least five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of branch banking operations, including teller duties, opening new accounts and products and services. A minimum of two (2) years supervising a team of employees. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
