Responsibilities:

  • Present the company’s mortgage investment solutions to both individual and group opportunities, tailoring presentations to meet diverse client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, delivering timely and exceptional service while managing relationships with integrity and care.
  • Maintain accurate investor data within the system, ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the investment team to effectively communicate fund performance and investment strategies to clients and stakeholders.
  • Partner with the VP of Investments to conduct thorough market research, identifying new opportunities for raising capital and expanding the company’s investor base.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training and ensure strict adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and protocols.
  • Perform Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Suitability checks for investors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date on compliance training to understand investor limits, capital requirements, and investment minimums, ensuring readiness for client interactions.
    Requirements
    Education & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years investment sales experience
  • Post secondary education with an emphasis on business administration, finance or equivalent
  • CSC, CFP, CIM or CFA is considered an asset
  • Must successfully complete exempt market proficiency course within 45 days of hiring
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of Canadian private capital markets and its compliance requirements, including KYC, AML, anti-spam and other personal information protection requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build relationships with various individuals inside and outside the organization
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to put in overtime, to support our clients and provide exceptional service levels
  • Ability to travel within province to meet clients, make presentations and attend industry events
