Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are seeking a Regional Manager for the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Rest of the World. This role is critical for advancing the global engagement and international student recruitment and conversion growth of this region for the University. You will join a dynamic, high performing - International Future Students team, working collaboratively with colleagues across regions and functions. While responsible for specific regions, you will also engage with wider team projects and enjoy a variety of activities beyond your core duties. You will develop and manage innovative recruitment and conversion strategies that are responsive to market conditions. Your approach will be proactive and data-led, using insights to optimise processes and achieve strong outcomes. You will deliver activities that are well planned, targeted, and measurable. As the Regional Manager, you will build and maintain strong relationships with education agencies, partners, and key stakeholders, including government and institutional sponsors. A key focus of the role is to manage and strengthen recruitment partnerships with education agencies, upskilling and developing agents within established frameworks to drive sustainable growth and diversify the international student population. Your work involves identifying stakeholder opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on market intelligence. You will track performance and provide regular reporting on trends to ensure strategies effectively align with the University growth agenda. We are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and a results-driven mindset to this pivotal position. This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week). The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $115,000, negotiable depending on skills and experience. As an experienced international education professional with excellent problem-solving skills, you are committed to results-driven, collaborative, and evidence-based practices. A demonstrated ability in customer relationship management and the professionalism to represent the University internationally is critical. You are IT-savvy and able to quickly learn and adapt to various digital tools, platforms, and systems. You will have an understanding of international student markets within the tertiary education sector, achieving targets and working closely with academics to promote their programmes. Proactivity, energy, and efficiency are key attributes need for this role, along with the ability to inspire confidence and work effectively with diverse groups and cultures. You are confident and engaging in virtual and in-person environments, able to effectively represent the University through presentations, webinars, and digital recruitment activities that connect with prospective students and partners. You leverage data analysis and market intelligence to inform recruitment strategy, uncover opportunities, strengthen channel effectiveness, and enhance conversion performance.
