Role Summary: The Regional O&M Manager is responsible for the operational performance, personnel leadership, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities within an assigned region. This role directly manages Area Managers and ensures consistent execution of maintenance programs, safety standards, staffing plans, and financial performance across the region. This position serves as the operational bridge between Field Services leadership and regional execution teams, ensuring day-to-day operations run reliably while driving process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Regional Operations Leadership Manages and coordinates daily regional maintenance operations, personnel deployment, and resource allocation. Provides direct leadership and coaching to Area Managers. Responsible for 24/7/365 operational performance of assigned region. Ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. Maintains continuity between corporate direction and regional execution. Personnel & Team Development Leads performance management for Area Managers and regional personnel. Ensures qualification cards are current and progressing across the region. Recommends or initiates personnel actions including hiring, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures. Supports workforce planning and regional staffing strategy. Continuous Improvement & Process Execution Maintains a continuous improvement culture within the region. Documents improvement initiatives and tracks measurable progress. Ensures standard operating procedures and maintenance programs are executed consistently. Identifies operational gaps and works cross-functionally to resolve them. Financial & Resource Management Participates in regional budget preparation and forecasting. Monitors labor, parts usage, and operational expenditures. Analyzes cost variances and recommends corrective actions. Ensures regional tools, inventory, and PPE loadouts are maintained and accurate. Cross-Functional Collaboration Works with Supply Chain, Engineering, Safety, Finance, and Sales to support regional operations. Supports sales and customer engagements as needed. Provides operational reporting and forecasting to leadership. Additional Duties Participates in on-call leadership rotation. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Basic (Required) Qualifications: Experience Minimum 3 years managing leaders or supervisors in a field service, maintenance, or operations environment. Experience overseeing technicians performing mechanical and/or electrical maintenance. Education Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university (engineering, operations, or related field preferred). Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance environments. Demonstrated professional and timely leadership and organizational skills. Ability to forecast labor and material needs. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze operational performance and implement timely improvements. Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated execution and ability to report progress. Ability to collaborate effectively and professionally across departments.
