Join our team as a Regional Manager of Resident Experience!
Full-Time Permanent Opportunity
Under the direction of the Regional Director of Long Term Care Operations, the Regional Manager of Resident Experience is accountable for ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and industry standards set by the Ministry of Long-Term Care and professional governing bodies. This role involves implementing the vision for resident care and services, aligning the organizational structure with the Philosophy of Living and the Butterfly Approach, and upholding the integrity of the strategic plan, all in compliance with government legislation, organizational policies, and the mission of Jarlette Health Services. The Regional Manager of Resident Experience will collaborate with Life Enrichment, Butterfly, and Resident and Family Services teams within the Homes to facilitate effective operations.

EDUCATION:

Post-secondary degree/diploma in recreation/leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or a related field.
Additional education in gerontology or social services is an asset.
Knowledge and experience with adult education strategies/facilitation.
Computer proficiency.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, or grandfathered as per Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss 76 (1) and Ontario Regulation ss. 249/22 (3,4).
Minimum of three years of experience as a healthcare professional in the retirement or long-term care sector.
Five (5) years of experience in a formal leadership position.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful resident experience programs.
Project management training and experience leading significant projects.
Change management certification and experience initiating significant change.
Knowledge and experience of culture change.
