POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall performance of their respective locations. They are passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding their volume and profit goals through effective management of their team and stores. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties (Most Important to Least Important) * Assures that all locations have the ongoing financial strength and profitability required for a healthy business to accomplish its objectives, including future growth. * Effectively trains and consistently executes successful business processes in all store departments, to ensure the customer has an excellent buying experience. * Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency and profitability of stores. * Effectively manages unit inventory and listings for maximum return on company investment, including retail merchandising, pricing (following ACV guidelines on used) and aged inventory management. * Ensure all dealerships maintain consistent operational efficiency and align with company standards. * In conjunction with Marketing Team, executes successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events. * Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to dealership managers and staff to drive performance improvements. * Prepare and manage regional budgets, financial performance, and cost control initiatives. Analyze profit and loss statements to drive profitability and identify areas for cost savings. * Regularly report on regional performance, sales data, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics to senior leadership. SKILLS * Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop staff. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * Financial acumen with the ability to analyze P&L statements and manage budgets effectively. * Knowledge of the marine industry and boating products is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS * Ability to travel frequently within the designated region. * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred). * Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role within the automotive, marine, or retail industry. * Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading successful teams.
