What you will be doing Field Control: Conduct regular and unannounced visits to hubs and agencies to ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the achievement of the PUS Audit Score. Remittance Management: Ensure rigorous tracking of amounts due from 3PLs and lead follow-ups with PUS Managers for fund recovery to prevent errors and theft. Payment Digitalization: Lead the systematic migration and monitor the use of Mobile Money (Wave) and Jumia Post Pay across all hubs to secure financial flows. Loss Reduction (QRR): Take direct responsibility for reducing the Loss & Defective / NMV ratio (1st & Last Mile) and ensure package integrity by combating breakage. End-to-End (E2E) Optimization: Guarantee improvement in speed indicators, specifically Buyer E2E, E2E Forward, and Network Dispatch to Last Mile Receive. Success Rate: Achieve the targets for the Post Paid Closed Success Rate PUS. Action Plans: Analyze performance data to implement immediate corrective measures in underperforming agencies. Skills Development: Facilitate training and refresher sessions for PUS teams based on investigation reports and field feedback. DSAT Improvement: Directly impact the DSAT PG (PUS) by guaranteeing a seamless customer experience from package reception to final delivery. Coaching: Support managers in the field to strengthen their operational leadership and mastery of tools such as scanners and information systems. Prospecting: Actively participate in the selection of new strategic partners. Commissioning: Oversee the physical installation, initial training, and launch of new agencies to ensure a rapid and compliant scale-up. What we are looking for Experience: Proven experience in managing logistics operations, retail, or distribution network management. Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capability and a results-driven mindset (KPI oriented). Integrity: Irreproachable integrity and rigor in financial monitoring. Communication: Excellent communicator, capable of training and mobilizing diverse teams. Mobility: Field-based position requiring frequent travel, approximately 80% of the time.
