Description

Position: Regional Manager
Responsible to: Head of Service
Responsible for: Registered Service Managers, Team Leaders, Support Coordinators and Support Workers
Primary Responsibility: Responsible for all aspects of Supported Accommodation across the allocated region, managing the Registered Service Manager and the service to a high strategic standard. Ensuring the Company’s ethos of providing a safe, secure and supportive environment which allows Young People to transition with confidence into their adult life.

Responsibilities
  • Having complete oversight of the Service ensuring the Registered Service Manager(s) are completing their duties as per the company structure.
  • Ensuring the independent living programme is effectively being used and developed within the Service, following the Company’s statement of purpose and workforce development plans.
  • Complying with all regulatory requirements with Ofsted.
  • Being the Safeguarding Lead for the allocated Service.
  • Making sure that the views, wishes and feelings of the Young People are embedded throughout the Placements.
  • Ensuring the Service Managers are overseeing and providing the Young People within the Services with the highest quality of support.
  • Taking overall management responsibilities for the development of Service Managers and growth within the teams.
  • Supervising Service Managers with the necessary audits, ensuring their personal development plans are in line with the workforce development plans.
  • Being accountable for managing the overall budgets within agreed and established cash limits throughout their Service.
  • Ensure the Supported Accommodation homes meet the necessary requirements to provide the effective support for the Young People
  • Becoming the lead to the development of the Service to establish integrated, strategic and operational partnerships with commissioning teams.
  • Referral screening which includes first glance matching for UCS.
  • Monitoring and auditing the Service.
  • Adhering to the Company structure and managing concerns through

the correct channels and procedures.

  • Ensuring any changes to regulations are embedded in the Companies policies and procedures and strategically shared with the placements within your allocation.
  • Working closely with the Head of Service and to confirm the quality and appropriateness of the Service.
  • Attending placement visits as and when required to ensure Service Managers and Team Leaders are completing the quality assurance of each Placement.
  • Overseeing the internal systems/ documentation within the Service.
  • Creating monthly audit reports for the Head of Service.
  • Leading in the development of Service within the area
  • Keeping up to date with new legislation, regulations, contracting authority guidelines, and communicating the same to Service Managers
