Position Summary
The Regional Manufacturing Engineer develops, implements and maintains operation methods, sequences and processes in the current manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities

  • Engineer with deep interaction with plant operations but also supports business unit’s needs.
  • Participates in the assessment, evaluation, planning and execution of projects where productivity is the main target.
  • Standardize processes and production methods between multiple factories to reach the best way to do it.
  • Interfaces with strategic organizations for the execution of time sensitive projects to maximize manufacturing capabilities while creating resiliency within the company.
  • Support advance manufacturing teams abroad to successfully install new tools, machines, and equipment in local facilities where the person is based

You will have

  • BSc in Engineering with focus on industrial, mechanic, electric, mechatronic, systems and similar
  • Advanced English, above 85% with fluent conversations and technical terms
  • Projects Implementation and methodology
  • Knowledge of lean methodology tools and practices
  • Knowledge of costs/finance concepts

Scope of actions:

  • Projects to be led impact plants operations, but also business units.
  • Project leadership and interaction with multiple departments within the factory and corporate
  • Identify savings opportunities and reflect them in financial evaluations, costings.
  • Public speaking skills when presenting projects to senior leadership
