Description

£53,000 – £59,000 DOE | FLEXIBLE WORKING | BERKSHIRE / SOUTH EAST ENGLAND

We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead a major regional campaign aimed at improving public engagement and driving recruitment across multiple local authorities in the South East.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact, socially meaningful campaign that spans digital, print, events, and community channels. You’ll be working in a purpose-driven environment where your work will directly support people and communities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the development and execution of a unified regional marketing strategy
  • Coordinating campaign delivery across digital, print, PR, and community engagement channels
  • Managing a regional marketing budget and supplier relationships
  • Aligning communications across multiple public sector partners to ensure consistency and cohesion
  • Using data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and shape future strategy
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulations including GDPR, equality and inclusion standards, and public sector advertising guidelines

We’re especially keen to hear from people who:

  • Have experience managing public-facing campaigns in a local authority, charity, or wider public sector setting
  • Understand how to engage diverse communities and deliver inclusive communications
  • Are confident working across multiple organisations or stakeholders
  • Can balance strategy with hands-on delivery
  • Bring a data-led, insight-driven approach to communications
  • Have a strong understanding of public sector compliance, governance, and messaging sensitivity

Why apply?
This role offers the chance to step into a regional leadership position with real social purpose. You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, drive delivery, and work collaboratively with a wide network of like-minded professionals.
The campaign has high visibility and strong support — but it needs someone who can bring it all together and make it land. If you thrive in the public or third sector and are ready for a new challenge with broad scope and impact, we’d love to hear from you
