Description
The “R&D Efficiency & support team” must address, support and coach all the R&D activities to cover our multi-disciplines offers, to align, harmonize all the methods & tools, design processes, within a common, business approach and mindset. The main mission of this team, with a global responsibility for the Medium Voltage Offer Line of Business, is to increase efficiency and worldwide collaboration. Main Role As part and member of this team, and, in strong collaboration with the existing regional ELectroMechanical regional leader, you contribute to his ELM activities and take over the other disciplines such as CAD/ELM Tools, current and Next Generation of PDM environment, Green Premium Ecosystem, Data management & Quality, Migration & On Boarding. For all these technical subjects, you support & coach all our Chinese design centers as well as the ones located in France, Germany, India, Spain, US for specific or transversal actions. In addition, you are one of the regional R&D Efficiency representative in charge of capturing all the needs, working with the team, driving these corresponding regional actions for all your disciplines. Key responsibilities / activities: - Drive the “Methods&Tools” activity according to the priorities defined at the governance & management level - Deploy, align the common & corporate practices to ensure the efficiency, quality and consistency of the designs - Take over the technical items & actions thru an efficient coaching capability and execution on the field - Manage the tools&data harmonization including the related change management (migration, NextGen program) - Create and animate the Regional technical user network and community for R&D population - Setup action plans to improve the knowledge, tools usage and data quality in R&D centers - Support, coach people on tools&processes, participate in peer reviews when needed - Communicate, make the results and improvements visible (Evaluate by regular assessment / audit) - Be the regional representative for corporate programs and initiatives (NextGen, MCAD Digitization ... ) Skill & qualification: University degree or Engineering school degree, in the field of Electro Mechanical engineering English, Communication & teamwork skills, Project & functional Management, Autonomy Minimum 10 years experienced in Engineering & Design Experience & leadership in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams and environments Knowledge of electrical engineering industry, product development Additional Comments: - Facilitate cooperation with active listening of all the R&D community and other functions - High capability to coach, lead, influence and convince - High capability to conduct change management throughout pedagogic approach - Expertise in ELM Design, good understanding of Functional design approach, Tolerancing analysis… - Mastering of corporate and quality processes and tools
