Monthly Celebrations and recognitions Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance $5,000 Tuition Reimbursement Per Year Responsibilities The Regional Nurse Consultant is responsible for setting resident care standards for all direct care providers and provide complete supervision/management for the nursing department. Oversite and review of multiple facility nursing programs: Providing day to day execution and supervision of resident care procedures and taking corrective action as necessary Overseeing and being involved in establishing care plans for each resident, assessing, needs and goals Managing and monitoring the review of nurses notes to determine if the care plan is being followed and also includes ascertaining the nursing completes all necessary reports, charting and assessments as required by their positions Managing and Monitoring the MDS/RAI process Managing and Monitoring the Nursing Restorative Program Supervising and developing the nursing team Maintaining Records, implementing systems and overall compliance with administrative requirements of facility management Complying with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with facility policy IND123 Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements Must meet State and Federal Director of Nursing requirements which include having at least one year of long-term care supervisory experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements Have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of Indiana A positve, helpful and team work attitude. Basic Computer knowledge and skills. A passion for caring for people. Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel. The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA. Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines. The ability to adhere to professional code of ethics Able to travel
