Responsibilities

OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE

Drive RFQ’s and GBT process, coordinates responses together with the Country Organizations, the Global Bid Teams, the Carrier Procurement Organization and the Commercial Owners.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The ROCC Manager will help to increase the success ratio of RFQ’s and will ensure that tariffs are up to market levels ensuring maximum and competitive profitability at all times.
The ROCC Manager have to be able to navigate in an international environment and to involve all stakeholder of a large organization in order to achieve common and maximum success.
At the same time the candidate needs to be aware of the importance of detail oriented bid submissions need to be capable to operate and deliver under time pressure.
The ROCC Manager will actively support the M+S Organization to gain new customers and to develop existing customer for DHL.

Key tasks:

  • Screening the Bid Terms & Conditions and overall business fit for DGF, Product T&C approvals. The Gate Keeper is authorized to make decisions on minor deviations from standard T&Cs as representative of the Global OFR Team. For more major deviations, consultation must be made with other regions and/or HO.
  • Assigning each screening approved bid with a pricing prioritization based on the 2 Priority pricing levels existing for GBT bids and selection of target lanes
  • Assuing a clear Gate Keeper Instruction (GKI) that rides along with the GBT launch of the bid
  • Checking the input to determine prioritization has been followed. The Gate Keeper is responsible for all export lanes out of their regions in this Bid Sanity Checks.
  • Alignment with BMT on volume in award announcement.
  • Align with RRM for OFR pricing and CTOCC for specific origin/destination inland costs for additional lanes of MNC & CSI customers
  • Assisting M&S in each regions in Business development activities by: identifying MNC /CSI accounts where we have specific OFR opportunities; alerting these accounts to the Global OCC for inclusion into the OFR Client Liaison List for focused support; joining M&S in joint calls and securing Regional and/or Global support needed to win business.
  • Supporting the sector approach on regional level by: identifying new opportunities inside priority sectors; joining M&S in joint calls and securing Regional and/or Global support needed to win business.
