Job Details Job Location: Englewood, CO 80112 Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/year POSITION SUMMARY: Habitat Management, (HMI, LLC.) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to lead our office and field operations in Farmington, New Mexico. This role requires a professional leader who can motivate and engage employees, set clear expectations, and maintain high standards of performance and professionalism. You will oversee daily operations, manage personnel, and ensure productivity across teams, while maintaining a strategic “big picture” view of projects and resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership & Team Management • Provide fiscal project management and strategic growth for the office • Be able to produce costs from online bids and track proposals • Hire, retain, and attract top talent to build a strong and capable team. • Lead, mentor, and manage full-time and seasonal staff to foster a productive, professional work environment • Set expectations for performance, punctuality, and workplace conduct • Organize daily operations and guide teams to meet project goals efficiently • Participate in company meetings, trainings, and provide constructive feedback to staff and leadership • Represent the company professionally with clients, vendors, and partners • Build and maintain strong working relationships to support company goals Operations & Project Oversight • Oversee daily office and field operations, scheduling, invoicing, and resource allocation Job Description • Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality to ensure client satisfaction • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on operational and project performance • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, workflows, and project profitability • Assist with project support as needed, including field work, monitoring, and reporting • Travel to project sites as required to support operations and team oversight Business Development & Administrative Leadership • Manage office operations, administrative workflows, and reporting systems • Lead proposal development, invoicing, and recordkeeping processes • Maintain communication and coordination between staff, management, clients, and vendors Safety, Training & Compliance • Ensure safety, regulatory, and compliance standards are met across all operations • Oversee staff training on tasks, equipment, and safety procedures • Maintain required licenses and ensure adherence to company policies Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL NEED: • Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management or Similar • 5 years of experience as a manager • Proven leadership and management experience • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills • Experience with budgeting, invoicing, scheduling, and operational oversight KEY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: • Commercial Applicator License with State of New Mexico • Qualified Supervisor in Colorado for herbicide applications • Noxious Weed Control and Management Experience • Reclamation experience Job Description PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: You must be physically fit to be able to work in field, including hiking and backpacking through rough terrain. Work Environment & Travel • Willingness to accommodate routine travel, extended field assignments up to 10 days at a time, and evolving project demands based upon project needs. • This is a hybrid field/office-based work environment, with travel to project sites and client locations as needed (approx. 50 percent of the time). • A clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screening.
