In line with our mission, the needs and aspirations of the People We Support are at the heart of everything we do.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate Regional Operations Manager who will act as the Registered Manager for the company, to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to unify staff teams to create a positive, resilient and high-performing culture.
You will work in partnership with the Responsible Individual, senior managers, specialist staff and external partners, ensuring we deliver high-quality, person-centred services in line with CIW standards and our organisational values.
This role requires a confident leader with excellent conflict management skills, the ability to inspire teams, and the resilience to handle complex situations with a calm, solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, inspire and unify a multidisciplinary staffing team, including deputies, office-based staff and frontline support workers.
  • Promote a positive, supportive and accountable team culture across all services.
  • Ensure the daily running of services meets the highest standards of care, safety and compliance.
  • Oversee care planning, risk management and quality assurance for all People We Support.
  • Ensure staffing levels are maintained, rotas are efficient, and cover is in place for all shifts.
  • Manage staff recruitment, induction, supervision and professional development.
  • Lead on investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes, applying strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with People We Support, their families, and external professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with CIW RISCA standards, company policies, GDPR, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external senior management meetings, CIW inspections and quality reviews.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities on a rota basis.
