REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Regional Operations Manager for the Ottawa Region, you’ll drive profitable growth through operational excellence, attention to detail, and unit operator motivation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years multi-unit successful food management experience an asset
  • QSR / Food Sector experience preferably within a franchisor/franchisee environment an asset
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to travel (1 or 2 x overnight per month)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Analytical thinking / persuasive communication skills with a positive attitude
  • A willingness to work in a team supported environment
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • A proven /demonstrated business success track record
  • A strong desire to achieve and passion for excellence
  • Both strategic and tactical with a “can-do” attitude and willing hands on approach
Responsibilities

GENERAL LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow and Protect Sales and Increase Dividends
  • Lead and Manager Company Initiatives
  • Facilitate Operations Communication and Standards/Expectations
  • Drive customer satisfaction through established company programs
  • Review and manage unit operators performance using company financial reports
  • Ensure brand protection and proper food safety execution
  • Work with other department to ensure ongoing support of unit operators

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide ongoing communication to Unit Operators on company initiatives and priorities
  • Conduct periodic business reviews and Unit Operators to review performance
  • Assist in meetings, training sessions, webinars, etc.
  • Facilitate the operations update on 4 business update calls
  • Support and maintain strong relationships with existing and new franchise partners
  • Responsible for overseeing and driving operational compliance in all restaurant operations and products
  • Provide direction/coaching/mentoring to each restaurant location.
  • Ensure outstanding Guest Service experience and product quality
  • Drive compliance and participation of all operating initiatives, required certifications, policies and practices etc.
  • Frequent restaurant visits are an integral part of providing support and face time with staff/operators/customers
  • Lead all new location openings or restaurant changeovers
  • Provide leadership by example and hands on approach
  • Act as the Brand/business ambassador at all times
