JOB SUMMARY:
This is a new remote regional fundraiser role focusing on the Oxfordshire area working as part of a dynamic and driven supporter-focused Fundraising Team. This pivotal role is dedicated to a new growing area of fundraising for the charity. We have recently opened a charity shop in Headington, the first of three that we plan to have in Oxfordshire.
You’ll be leading on implementing our fundraising strategy, driving new business delivery to grow our support in Oxfordshire. It’s an exciting role stewarding our high-value supporters across the county, working with them and our local volunteers to inspire new support for Hospices of Hope, building an effective network of long-term relationships across the community from individuals to local businesses, to organisations and schools.

· Proactively recruit supporters, volunteers and community organisations to create opportunities for fundraising within your region. Lead and inspire these networks in order to generate long term income and awareness for the charity
· Enable and empower supporters in their communities to maximise their fundraising passion to develop successful long term fundraising events and activities
· To monitor and report on income and expenditure and other KPI’s including volunteer recruitment, registrations etc.
· To work with the Fundraising Manager to manage the effective delivery of the regional fundraising strategy in an assigned geographical region
· To ensure the effective delivery of our supporter journey and to ensure we are going above and beyond for our supporters
· To be recognised within your area and develop relationships wherever you go
· Where appropriate, manage volunteers: recruiting, training and assigning daily tasks
· To advise third party fundraisers on all aspects of their fundraising including advice on organisation, marketing, charity law and fundraising guidelines for their events/fundraising activities. Supporting on-going fundraising, managing donor communication, ensuring donors are stewarded and thanked within service level agreements.
· To draft and submit tender proposals ensuring deadlines are met
· To devise, plan and deliver fundraising events in the region
· To help form and support a region fundraising committee
· Represent the Fundraising team as required; including attending events when appropriate. This will involve some out of hours work.
· To work with other teams in the Fundraising department across the charity to provide opportunities for our supporters to engage with the charity
